Meet the Team
Tamara Cook, Director and Senior Events Manager
A self-confessed philanthropic events junkie, Tamara established Known Associates Events in 2007. Her network stretches far and wide – once you meet her, you will be in her fold for years to come. Tamara’s professional background began in Hotel Management where strong and meaningful contacts, outstanding customer service and attention to detail were of the utmost importance. A highly-skilled events professional, Tamara has project managed multiple high profile events from 1000-seat black tie balls for royalty, to intimate cocktail soirees. With a Communications degree and over 20 years of events experience in Australia and the USA, you’re in good hands.
Sonja Grasso, Public Relations and Events Manager
Sonja Grasso is a highly motivated and organised PR, Marketing and Events Manager. She personifies honesty, reliability, dedication and compassion. With an outgoing, passionate personality and a love for interacting with people, Sonja exhibits her flair for life through her work and welcomes creative challenges with open arms. “I believe that determination and teamwork equals success.” says Sonja.
Giorgia Iannello, PR and Events Assistant
Giorgia brings her creative style and effortless flair to Team Known Associates. A quiet achiever, she often burns the midnight oil to bring amazing PR and Event strategies to life. Her ever-growing passion for design shows in her killer skills and she’s a terrific creative writer and social media content creator. Giorgia’s an integral part of our crew and often puts the team into fits of laughter with her quirky questions and observations. #superstar
Ellen Harvey, Events Assistant
Ellen is a dedicated power house brimming with creativity, confidence and skill. She loves to submerge herself in all areas of event management and excels in production and technology. You’ll find Ellen at the centre of our brainstorming sessions delivering wild and exciting ideas. She loves a laugh and chat with the team and clients alike, has an insatiable thirst for learning and has proven to be a very cool cat when under pressure. This lil’ lady was born to run events!
