LAUGHTER IS KING.

Tasked with delivering the message that ‘no matter what future technology holds, human connection is king’, we worked with team Camp Quality to produce a futuristic realm encased in warmth and laughter.

We’re not going to sugar coat it…if you didn’t attend, you missed out.

As the echoed countdown to launch began, metallic-clad F.A.D.J. spun her electro beats as futuristic dancers tore through the air to welcome guests into the swirling mists of the Crown Perth Grand Ballroom. Transformed with wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling projection, guests prepared for an interstellar evening like no other.

Roars of laughter began as MC, Nine News Perth anchor Tim McMillan, welcomed guests into 2050 with the All-Human News streaming live from the Space Desk. Hot feature stories were on Prime Minister Tony Galati, and global warming effects in the beach-side suburb of Kalamunda.

Following heartfelt messages of hope for kids with cancer through Camp Quality’s programs, things started to get a bit promiscuous. Comedy trio, Suns of Fred, brought their sexy choreographed moves to stage leaving the crowd in hysterics during dinner. The performance ended in the three blokes mastering the Dirty Dancing lift – pretty impressive!

The entertainment kept on coming as Claudia Tripp and Mitchell Martin, wooed the ballroom with their heavenly voices. A show-stopping moment was when Claudia’s acoustic performance accompanied vision of one Camp Quality family’s journey through cancer with their two year old daughter, Nora.

Arguably one of the best auctioneers in Australia, Tiny Holly took the room from teary back to hilarity as he hosted a fast flying live auction. Furious bidding wars ensued, as everyone scrambled to give the charity a healthy financial boost and take home something wonderful in the process. A sporty new Audi A1 was the final icing on the cake.

When the clock struck half past ten, glasses went down and the dance floor went off! Perth “super band”, Falcon, ended the party in futuristic boots and old school rock. With two screaming encores; the crowd loved them.

While guests partied into the early morning, Team KAE put our feet up, looked around the room and realised what a fantastic night we had created to benefit families going through harrowing times. With Camp quality holding their hands, supporting them through the process, we know it will be a little more bearable.

Thanks to the brilliant: APAN, House of FADJ, Mitchell Martin, Claudia Tripp, AV Partners, Mode & Affaire
