Director, Senior Events & PR Associate
A self-confessed philanthropic events junkie living the motto ‘People before Profit’, Tamara established Known Associates Events in 2007. Her network stretches far and wide – once you meet her, you will be in her fold for years to come. Tamara’s professional background began in Hotel Management where strong and meaningful contacts, outstanding customer service and attention to detail were of the utmost importance. A highly-skilled events professional, Tamara has project managed multiple high profile events including 1000-seat black tie balls for royalty, intimate cocktail soirees, countless marketing campaigns; always contributing a community focus and considering social responsibility. With a Communications degree and over 20 years of experience, you’re in good hands.
One of our senior staff, Giorgia brings her creative style, effortless flair and workaholic attitude to Team Known Associates. A quiet achiever, she often burns the midnight oil to bring amazing PR and Event strategies to life. Her ever-growing passion for design shows in her killer skills and she’s a terrific creative writer and content creator. Giorgia’s Tamara’s righ-hand-woman and is an integral part of our crew. She regularly puts the team into fits of laughter with her quirky questions and observations. #superstar
Public Relations Associate
Cassie joined the team amidst an extremely busy period and hit the ground running. She is a breath of fresh air, always lighting up the room with her bubbly positivity whether it be in the office or in an event space. Cass embodies the high level of customer service Known Associates is known for, consistent in her approach to people from all walks of life. She shines bright through her incredible writing and creative skills and her natural flair for Public Relations, Marketing and Events.
The ever-stylish Nicole Joubert brings class, grace and an unmatched calming presence to our team. After back to back (to back!) degrees, Nic’s an expert in all things marketing and a master of special projects. Tamara and Nic met in another lifetime when they worked together at the city hotel, Rydges Perth. Flash forward twenty years and they’ve joined forces again to rock the events scene in Perth.
Ellen is a dedicated power house brimming with creativity, confidence and skill. She loves to submerge herself in all areas of event management and excels in production and technology. You’ll find Ellen at the centre of our brainstorming sessions delivering wild and exciting ideas. She loves a laugh and chat with the team and clients alike, has an insatiable thirst for learning and has proven to be a very cool cat when under pressure. This lil’ lady was born to run events!
