Mining Industry Summit 2026

Client | Government of Western Australia

Location | Optus Stadium

Building Respect saw 800 guests meet at Optus Stadium as a landmark gathering for the Western Australian mining sector, focused on driving meaningful cultural change across psychosocial safety, respect and workplace wellbeing.

The Summit brought together leaders from across all levels of the industry for a curated program of keynote presentations, panel discussions, an industry exhibition and interactive theatre-based learning experiences, designed to move beyond awareness and translate intent into practical action.

The event opened with a powerful Welcome to Country, featuring Indigenous dance by Barry Winmar and Ash Penfold (Corroboree for Life), establishing a respectful and grounding start to the program.

Funded by the Government of Western Australia through the MARS Program, the Summit united the sector in a shared commitment to safer, more inclusive and high-performing workplaces, focused on turning conversation into lasting change.
