The SPM Conference and Gala saw 250 GP Supervisors and Practice Managers arrive at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle for two days of networking, learning and the long-awaited Gala Dinner celebrating WAGPET’s 20th anniversary.
Guests were greeted with a branded welcome sign sporting WAGPET’s colours and embellished with florals from Maple & Wren. Custom lanyards were provided at registration along with suede notebooks debossed with Aboriginal artwork forming the theme for the Gala Dinner. The plenary session kicked off with a Welcome to Country by Malcolm Champion before delegates split into breakout sessions for an engaging afternoon.
As day turned to night the aquamarine Aboriginal artwork rippled across the ballroom transforming it into an elegant evening setting.A photographer captured guests in front of the branded photo wall, decaled with sections of the artwork and adorned with draping blue florals. After the door prizes were awarded and formalities concluded, DJ KP brought the good vibes with her lively set drawing guests to the dance floor to party the night away.
