’Tis the Season to Create Quirky Christmas Content

Tinsel, baubles, lights, oh my… the festive season is officially among us!

And with the silly season, comes an influx of out-of-office replies, back-to-back Christmas parties and our favourite - the excuse to spam our favourite people with crazy Christmas photos!

Yes, you read that right, Christmas photos. We’ll take any excuse to jump into our studio and pose ‘til we’re content with the content… and Christmas tops the list!

While you might be thinking “can these ladies be anymore extra?”, our 2019 Christmas photoshoot drives 25,000 unique visitors to our Pinterest page every month, which in turn drives peeps to our website. That’s what we like to call, ‘marketing while we sleep’.

It might be the reindeer antlers, the pseudo innocent smiles or the fact that people just love corny photoshoots, but all we know is that when it comes to digital - people connect with people. This is why we recommend small businesses post pictures of their team. all. the. time.

2020 has been one hell of a roller-coaster, so why not continue riding it out of your comfort zone and create some awesome quirky content with your team. Below are our top five ideas for insta-worthy Christmas content:

1). Christmas Sweaters (and don’t let anyone tell you yours is ugly)

2). Matching reindeer antlers… because teams that match accessories are in it for the long haul

3). Christmas morning (stockings and pjs galore)

4). Australian Christmas – hold the red and green, and double the brimmed hats and pool toys

5). Our personal fave, photoshop yourselves into a Christmas scene. It could be a snow globe, sleigh, or Santa’s toy shop
